Welcome to Augusta Music Family Tree
We are dedicated to developing the knowledge of the Augusta area's musical heritage. Spanning all time periods and genres is the ultimate goal of this community project. The project is completely inclusive, and relies on your intellectual contributions to expand. You needn't be a musician to contribute. Also, once you cut your teeth on this page, you might have some entries related to the Arts and Culture in Augusta, Georgia page.
- Please click on the Discussion tab at the top left corner of this page to start with.
- Next, look through the index of Bands, Musicians, and Venues to see if you're already listed. If you see your name in red, all you have to do is click on the link and it will automatically start a new page.
- If you are not in a corresponding index, please start by adding your name, band name, or venue name to the appropriate index. This will make it easier for yourself or others to find your page, and easier for us to keep up.
- Please remember to include bands that musicians are involved with on Musicians pages and band members on Bands pages.
- Your user page does not count as an entry as a musician page. When creating a musician page about yourself, use the name you are known by.
